Files and recording are great. This novel was pretty terrible though, it’s basically a knockoff of Ira Levin’s “Sliver.” Very predictable and unoriginal. The characters are also pretty obnoxious, and a lot of the overall writing and dialogue is cringy.
Save yourself the time and pick up Ira Levin’s books, or “The Wicker Man,” or “Harvest Home.” They have similar premises with much better execution.
