Reportedly, there’s no animal cruelty in this one. (Or is it just that there’s relatively little animal cruelty? I’m skeptical, given the truly pornographic depictions of violent cruelty to animals in The Troop.) But I will give it a try.

I don’t remember any animal cruelty in that book, although I read Troop many years ago. I haven’t had time to listen to this yet, but animal cruelty is also a trigger warning to me, so let’s hope for the best
