So as the Eden survivors prepare their rural Utah compound for the coming fall and winter they find that the herds of dead patrolling the nearby State Route aren’t their only enemy.
Idle time seems to be giving power to their ghosts. And with each perceived whiff of familiar perfume, or flash in the side vision of a familiar form that proves to be nonexistent, the lure of wanting to know their fate begins to affect some of the group adversely.
Even after attaining a modicum of closure in the high country of central Idaho, Duncan Winters continues to seek solace for his loss at the bottom of a whiskey bottle.

Btw.. Just to straighten the record.. Zeke was totally cool I didn’t mean to confuse him with the other JA who just felt the need too “diss” his enthusiasm to seem smart.
Furthermore, moreorless I didn’t wanna accuse you of being a Brit even tho i figured you are and then be wrong. However after rereading and seeing your usage of the term arse I’m emboldened to venture the guess.
So how about this. Why not you reflect on why you and your countrymen stood idle for the decades you had the whole “grooming gangs” thing going on, all in the name of political correctness, and back right out of your position of critiquing our political process in comment sections of our patriotic resonating books. (that I’m guessing this book is like most in the genre)
We don’t hate you guys, we pray that you would save yourselves.
