Hmm. I was hoping this was the story portrayed in that fantastically creepy and truly scary early-1980s horror film Sole Survivor, about a woman who survived a plane crash but, it appears, that she wasnt supposed to have done so (and/or she exists in a limbo causing her to, well, see dead people). The film was similar to Carnival of Souls, and is nearly as low-budget but much more scary . Alas, DK’s novel looks to be a different story altogether.
