The world is dead, devoured by a plague of reanimated corpses.
In a crumbling city Sarah, Nathan, and a band of survivors barricade themselves inside a warehouse surrounded by a sea of shambling putrefaction. Days in seclusion blur by, and their food is nearly gone. The group is faced with two possible deaths: creeping starvation, or the undead outside the warehouse.
As Sarah stands on the edge of the warehouse roof preparing to step out into oblivion she spots a glimmer of hope. In the distance a helicopter approaches the city … but is it the salvation the survivors have been waiting for? And do they dare attempt to fight their way through the mass of infected dead to reach it?

Downloaded the file twice. Loving the book, but in iTunes, the player bar stops at 5 hours, 20 minutes, even though it says it is 6 hours 48 minutes long. Book keeps playing even though the bar stops, but won’t save spot if paused after the 5 hours and 20 minutes. You have to pick back up where the player bar stops.
Anyone have a solution for this? I’ve checked some forums and searched, but with no luck. It’s not a problem with the mp3 tag. The proper time is marked there. I will post a solution if I come across one.

This books plays fine on all other players but many people have problems with certain rips when using iTunes.
There is probably an error in the mp3 header. You can rewrite the MP3 header by opening and re-saving (control-W)in MP3DirectCut. That rewrites the header and fixes any anomalies, without any quality loss. Thanks to Gweilo for this fix. ♥
