Rory thought losing his dream job and moving back in with his parents was bad. He thought having to face the one that got away was even worse. Under a blanket of stars, quiet ghost stories around the popping fire lead to skinny-dipping in the silvery moonlight, just like old times. The next morning, the town sheriff finds no trace of wrongdoing. No bodies. No blood. No nada. He shakes his head at their story about the things that came out of the lake – the moss-covered ones that snatched Rory’s friends like crocodiles springing from the water’s edge. It’s a morbid tale the sheriff writes off to an alcohol-infused misunderstanding. Nothing more, nothing less. That is, until more missing persons reports start coming in.
Sheriff Hooper begins to fear a serial killer is on the loose and when he uncovers the shocking truth, he’ll wish it was that easy. When it begins to rain, he’ll wish there was an escape from the evil incarnate unleashed upon his sleepy little town.

This reminded me of an old 1980’s horror flick, has all the vibe and atmosphere of one. Its a great Zombie tale imo, so hope you enjoy :)

I personally enjoy the narrator. You’re welcome to your opinion though.
I can imagine the utter shock and revulsion your poor, fragile mind suffered as you look on aghast at the missing T.

Someone with fragile Princess ears trying to call out another. Funny. Book sounds good. Guess I will find out how terrible the narrator is. Maybe he got his job on narrating dozens of books through something other than a good voice and ability. Anyway, sorry in advance, for hurting your fragile eyes by reading this text. thanks for the upload and the chance to call out a guy [CENSORED]ing out someone for not stealing the best copy for him to listen to for free.

Thanks Mark. No qualms whatsoever with other members not liking a book/narrator but I don’t expect such venomous vitriol for the mere crime of freely sharing content that others may enjoy.

I also can’t stand bad narrators…like that Lorelei King woman who mispronounces the name Aurielle as “Aurielly”, apparently no knowing the last e is silent. Wouldn’t be so bad if Aurielle wasn’t mentioned in every book 4 or more times.

This sounds pretty good as a horror novel! Didnt say anything about zombies in the description, but the tags do, so i will go through this in the hope of seeing some! :) Thank you Kazin for another great upload!
