If your ex-military like I am then you may want to stear clear from this series as the military side of these stories makes me shake my head and roll my eyes. John O’Brien must have never served in any branch of the military and needs to write about other stuff not oriented towards the military.
The story isnt bad once you get past Jack and his all knowing and all doing everything. I hung around for rebuilding side of the story.

I’m almost at the end of the first book, 7h17 of 8h22.
The story is okay but the voice acting is just… really bad. Mark Gagliardi has one voice, and it sounds a little like Nick Cage doing a cold read of a script. (5-6/10)
The other voice actors are just awful… An AI voice generator has more life and inflection than these kids. I think it must be their first time doing VA work. They sound like a bunch of high school students asked to read aloud for their class. (1-3/10)
